   How Did We Get Here?
• The Clinical Network Group CNG for Lung Cancer was formed in
October 1999 and selected Unisoft as their common supplier,

• RCP Dataset has routinely been collected
since April 2000 for local audits and
  reported centrally to Network Analyst
  since October 2000,

   LUCADA Dataset subset of
   RCP “CORE Dataset”

Merseyside & Cheshire Cancer Network
Network Role (IV)
•Supported central funding for Unisoft software,

•Communicated aims clearly through several layers of management
to people of varying status across the Network,

•Analysed team structure / Job Descriptions – inline with MDT setup,
to Coordinate workload, (NCASP Projects, CWT, Local Audit etc).

•Process mapped patient pathways to understand data flows,
(locally & over multiple sites).

•Encouraged our users to use CSV upload, instead of manual entry,

Developed an interactive CD-Rom – “Resource pack”.
