       Under and by virtue of an order of the District Court of Edgecombe County, North Carolina, made and entered
in the action entitled “Edgecombe County vs. Pennie E. Harrell and Randy E. Harrell (File No.: 07-CVD-996 ),” the
undersigned commissioner will on the 20th day of March, 2008, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest
bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, in Tarboro, North Carolina at
12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in Number two Township, State and County
aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:

Being known as 123 Woodlawn Lane, Tarboro, North Carolina and more fully described as follows:
All that certain lot or parcel of land in Number Two (2) Township, Edgecombe County, North Carolina, and being
more specifically described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pipe set in the eastern property line of C.B. Bunting as described in Deed Book 734, Page 307,
Edgecombe County Registry, said iron pipe set being further located at the intersection of the centerline of N.C.
Highway #42 as it intersects with the centerline of N.C. Highway #33 and thence along the centerline of N.C.
Highway #33 South 06 degrees 49 minutes East 595.36 feet to a point in said centerline cornering; thence North 83
degrees 13 minutes East 29.83 feet to a point in the eastern right of way line of N.C. Highway #33 at an existing iron
pipe, the common property line of C. B. Bunting et al and Willie Whitehead, Jr. as recorded in Book 908, Page 12,
Edgecombe County Public Registry, cornering; thence continuing along the property line of C. B. Bunting North
83degrees 13 minutes East 345 feet to an iron pipe set, cornering; thence along the eastern property line of C. B.
Bunting North 07 degrees 00 minutes West 44.0 feet to the beginning point. Thence from said beginning point thus
determined along and with the eastern property line of C. B. Bunting North 07 degrees 00 minutes West 222 feet to
an existing iron pipe, the property line of James B. Bryant, III et ux as recorded in Book 783, Page 245, Edgecombe
County Registry, cornering; thence along and with the Bryant property line North 85 degrees 46 minutes East 107.0
feet to an iron pipe set, cornering; thence South 07 degrees 00 minutes East 222.0 feet to an iron pipe set, cornering;
thence South 85 degrees 46 minutes West 107 feet to an iron pipe set in the eastern property line of C. B. Bunting,
the point and place of beginning and containing 23,726 square feet as shown on a map entitled “Survey for Randy
Eugene Harrell and wife, Penny E. Harrell”, No 2 Township, Edgecombe County, North Carolina, Survey & Map by
Kenneth D. Talbot, Registered Land Surveyor, Tarboro, North Carolina, Date: 11 Feb. 1987, Scale: 1” = 50’.
Also conveyed is a easement of right of way which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the eastern right of way line of N.C. Highway #33, said point being in the northern property line
of the Albert R. Norville land as described in Deed Book 715, Page 116 and Deed Book 734, Page 586, Edgecombe
County Registry. Said existing nail located at the intersection of the centerline of N.C. Highway #42 where it
intersects with the centerline of N.C. Highway #33, thence along and with the centerline of N.C. Highway #33, South
06 degrees 49 minutes East 755.59 feet to a point in the centerline of said highway, cornering; thence North 83
degrees 19 minutes East 30.2 feet to the eastern right of way of N.C. Highway #33 to an existing iron pipe, the
beginning point. Thence from the beginning point thus determined along and with the eastern right of way line of
N.C. Highway #33 North 06 degrees 49 minutes West 20.0 feet to a point, cornering; thence North 83 degrees 19
minutes East 361.34 feet to a point, cornering; thence North 05 degrees 57 minutes East 186.74 feet to a point in the
southern property line of the tract hereinabove described, cornering; thence along and with the southern property line
of said tract as hereinabove described North 85 degrees 46 minutes East 20.32 feet to a point, cornering; thence
along an existing path South 05 degrees 57 minutes West 206.35 feet to the property line of Albert R. Norville as
recorded in Deed Book 803, Page 42, Edgecombe County Registry, cornering; thence along and with said property
line of Albert R. Norville as described in Book 803, Page 42 and Book 715, Page 116 and Book 734, Page 586, South
83 degrees 19 minutes West 377.31 feet to the eastern right of way line of N.C. Highway #33, the point and place of
beginning and being described as a “20’ Access Easement” and “Existing Path” as described on the Map
hereinabove described. Set map is incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth.

     The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments
against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5
