in Nebraska, is eager to unveil the newest car in the Toyota lineup this fall – the redesigned2013 Toyota
Avalon . When the car becomes available in late 2012, customers can expect premium interior styling with
features like standard leather seats and a completely redesigned dashboard, with their choice of a powerful
V-6 engine or fuel-efficient Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive technology. The balance of comfort, power, and
safety put the new Avalon on the map with many luxury car brands.

Toyota’s U.S. general manager, Bob Carter, describes the newest Avalon as “the most beautiful car I’ve seen
in 20 years with Toyota.” Along with enhanced interior finishing, the vehicle’s more compact size and lighter
weight lend itself to better gas mileage than previous models. The V-6 engine averages 268 horsepower
and 21 mpg city/31 mpg highway, with the hybrid model averaging 200 total system horsepower and 40
mpg city/39 mpg highway. Toyota reports that the Avalon hybrid will feature EV, Eco and Sport driving
modes, as well.

Standard and optional features for the redesigned 2013 Toyota Avalon, as well as pricing information, have
not been released yet.
