Have been lucky and unlucky twist of fate? Is there a way for us to
always be the lucky person? To find out, we see the following studies.

Two sides of the paradox of life is apparently to attract scientists. Why
would anyone (was) always lucky, while on the contrary there is an
unfortunate and unlucky again? Professor Richard Wiseman of the
University of Hertfordshire UK, tried to examine the things that
distinguish those with the unfortunate luck. The observations of the
project is called: The Luck Project.

Research methods as follows:

Wiseman recruited a group of people who feel life always wins, and
another group whose lives are always unlucky. It sounded like a mess, how
could luck be investigated. But it was indeed a lucky person to act
differently with those pesky.

In one of these sessions The Luck Project, Wiseman gave the task to
calculate how many pictures in the newspaper that was distributed to two
groups. The people of the unlucky group took an average of two minutes to
complete this task. While those of the lucky group only takes a few
seconds only! How come you know?

Yes, because earlier on the 2nd page, Wiseman has not put a small text
reads "Stop counting now! There are 43 images in this paper." Kelompol
unlucky missed this article when the busy calculating the image.

In fact, more fun again, in the middle of the paper, Wiseman put another
message which read: "Stop counting now and tell the investigator you find
it, and win $ 250!". Again, the unlucky miss the message! It is really

In short, from the research that claims to be "scientific" is, Wiseman
found four factors that distinguish those who are lucky from the unlucky:

A. Attitude to the opportunities
Lucky people did in fact more open to opportunities. They are more
sensitive to the existence of opportunities, good at creating
opportunities, and act when opportunity comes.

Apparently the people who are lucky to have a more relaxed attitude and
open to new experiences. They are more open to interaction with the new
people, and create new social networks. People who are unlucky more
tense, so closed to new possibilities.

Warren Buffet /

For example, when Barnett Helzberg jewelry store owner in New York was
about to sell the pearl shop, accidentally while walking in front of the
Plaza Hotel, he heard a woman call a guy next to him: "Mr. Buffet!" Only
a glimpse of events that may be passed most people who are less
fortunate. But another thought Helzber, he thinks if the guy next to him
turns out to be Warren Buffet, one of the largest investor in America,
then he is likely to offer a pearl chain.

Helzberg then immediately greeted him in the next, and really it turns
out he is Warren Buffett. Introductions ensued and Helzberg previously
did not know Warren Buffet, managed to offer the business directly to
Buffet, face to face. A year later, Buffett agreed to buy the network's
Helzberg jewelry store. Really lucky.

2. Using intuition to make decisions
The lucky person was more relying on intuition than logic. Important
decisions made by the fortunate turns largely on the basis whisper
"conscience" (intuition) rather than the results of the number-crunching
that advanced.

The figures will be helpful, but the final decision of the general "gut
feeling". Which may be difficult for someone who is unlucky, was a
whisper of conscience would be difficult to hear if our brain is dizzy
with the endless reasoning.

That's why most people are lucky to have a method to sharpen their
intuition, for example through regular meditation. On a calm mental
state, and a clear mind, intuition will be more accessible. And the more
frequently used, our intuition will also be more sharply.

3. Always expect good to come
The lucky person was always ge-er to life. Always prejudiced either that
kindness will come to him. With such a mental attitude, they are more
resistant to a test that may befall them, and be more positive in
interacting with others.

Try it yourself by doing a simple test. Ask a successful person you know,
how the future business prospects. Surely they will tell of optimism and

4. Changing a bad thing to be good
Lucky people are very good at facing a bad situation and turn it into
good. For them, every situation there is always a bright side.

In one test Prof Wiseman asked volunteers to imagine is going to the bank
and the bank suddenly invaded by armed robbers.

The reaction of the unlucky people are generally: "Well damn bener in the
midst of a robbery so". While the reaction of the lucky ones, for
example, is: "Thank God I was there, I could write about my experience to
media and money".

Whatever the situation, people are fortunate to continue to profit
substantially. They were quickly able to adapt to a bad situation and
turn it into a fortune.
Now, how do we deal with Richard Wiseman conclusion? 4 of the above
factors is the key to getting lucky. The bottom line is: have a sense of
gratitude and always think positive.

By continuing to foster a sense of gratitude and positive thinking, our
hearts become 'light' and the result: a positive aura that brought much
good to us.

May we include those who are lucky
