   Adventure seeking King Ulysses is chasing
    a young man’s dream. Should someone
    give up the passion of a lifetime merely
    because of age? Write a paragraph
    explaining what your opinion is and
    provide at least one example supporting
    your opinion.

                 Ulysses
 Ulysses is a Greek Leader that fought in
  the ten-year-long Trojan War.
 Now an old king, he is at home with his
  wife and son.
 Lead a exciting life of wonder and horror.
 He can now stay at home and rest but
  wants to leave home for one more
  journey.
           Subject vs. Theme
   Subject- old age



   Theme- Even as we age, we must never
    stop seeking knowledge and adventure.
                 Vocabulary
   Hoard (v.)- keep to oneself; store
                   Predict
   Based on the warm up and the summary,
    make a prediction of what you think will
    happen in “Ulysses”. Write the prediction
    in your journal (5 sentences).
