					Highly Qualified Status in the area of Math can be achieved through the following
methods:

      Certificate with appropriate endorsement earned after 2004,which included the
       appropriate Praxis II testing.
      Certificate with appropraite endorsement earned prior to 2004; HOUSSE rubric
       on file with the district for specific endorsement/teaching assignment or
       successful passage of appropriate Praxis II for specific endorsement
       areas/teaching assignment. (Note: The HOUSSE rubric cannot be used for special
       education secondary content areas)
      Certificate with verification of a major course of study in this specific content
       area; minimum of 30 sememster credits.
      Teacher has National Board Certification in this specific content area. For
