SG APPOINTS DANIEL FERMON AS SENIOR ANALYST TO ITS
PAN-EUROPEAN RESEARCH TEAM
SG is pleased to announce the further reinforcement of its pan-European Equity
Research team with the appointment of Daniel Fermon in a new position in charge of
transversal research reports. Daniel will be based in Paris, working in co-ordination with
all the sector teams and reporting directly to Patrick Legland, Head of pan-European
Research, and to Alain Galène, Deputy Head of Pan-European research.
Daniel, 41, holds a diploma of the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (ISG) and is a member of
SFAF. He started his career by working for eight years as a French Equities analyst, and
between 1997 and 2000 he worked for HSBC in both European Equities Sales and as a
French Strategist. For the last three years Daniel has been at NSMD as its Head of
Commenting on the hire, Patrick Legland said “We are delighted to welcome Daniel to
the team as the link between sector teams, his mission will be to facilitate cross-
fertilisation and thus add value for our clients.”
The creation of this new role in Paris once again illustrates SG’s commitment to
strengthening its expertise in Pan-European Equity Research.
