                              PROFESSIONAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Manager, ID Card Service

POSITION SUMMARY: Administrator of all ID Card Office operations and services.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

       Supervises, directs, delegates, and evaluates work of assigned staff
       Ensures readiness of ID Card office for daily service
       Oversees daily operational use of Campus Gold software program and related computer
        equipment
       Serve as primary contact for all ID Card Office interfaces
       Coordinate ID Card Office participation in the new student orientation, re-application process and
        other recruitment/retention efforts
       Establish marketing efforts to students, faculty, and staff on services offered
       Maintain the meal plan system information to be used by the Food Service vendor
       Reconcile CS Gold plan charges to FRS
       Oversee all RFP processes within the ID Card Office
       Disburse funds accordingly
       Assist director with various Auxiliary Administration projects
       Resolves technical problems in concert with appropriate university technical staff and vendor
        support staff
       Utilize software program to provide reports
       Evaluate reports, trouble-shoot problem areas, and advises supervisor of unusual problems
       Perform related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of: University and department policies and procedures; principles and practices of
organization and administration; computer operations in the areas of specific software programs, complex
database operations, and hardware; terminals, printers, card readers, building controllers, server,
networks; personnel practices and procedures; office management; basic accounting and budget
preparation; food service operations; and food service equipment and maintenance.

Skill in: Short- and long-range planning; problem analysis and resolution; public contact; computers.

Ability to: Direct, evaluate, train and supervise the work of assigned personnel; communicate effectively
in written and oral form; develop and maintain effective working relationships; supervise; maintain
accurate and orderly records; use independent judgment and initiative; organize and direct several
activities; analyze and evaluate information; complete reconciliations.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

       Bachelors degree in Business Administration or other business related field
       3 years experience
