1      Introduction
1.1    Purpose
       This document will outline the scope, limitations and expectations, of the
       Registration Application.

       The application is used to sign up / collect information regarding new clients or
       businesses opting into VoIP services.

1.2    Team Details
       The developer for this project is           . The developer will work with the
       client to complete the desired application.

1.3    Client Description
       The client is Telair Communications Ltd.

       Client can provide a dedicated server / mysql to work on.

       Client to provide examples of our current and existing signup form.

2      Scope
2.1    Project Summary
       Vision

       1.) Creation of Web registration portal that upon completion submits all
           information via email notification to management team.

       Detail

       1.) Admin Portal

             a. Ability to enter plans and prices

                    i. Please view www.telair.ca to view services offered

             b. Ability to add hardware + images (for extension selection /
                checkout)

             c. Ability to add extension subpricing for certain plans.

                    i. Extension pricing subject to volume discounts, need to be able
                       to enter up to 10 discount % points.

             d. Ability to add extra items available/shown before checkout

                    i. Item #

                   iii. Price

             e. Ability to add professional installation prices to extensions (Fee x #of
                extensions + base charge for onsite visit)

             f. Ability to determine shipping. When in putting items, single shipping
                price and quantity price should be used with checkout. (ie. 1 item =
                x, 2 items = y...)

             g. Ability to add coupons and referrals for checkouts

             h. Ability to add, monitor and track referral (from above).

       2.) Registration Web Portal

             a. 5 Step process to signing up. – refer to fido.ca signup for design
                and layout.

                    i. Step 1 – Chose your Plan

                           1. Plan should be pulled from services section from admin
                              portal

                        1. Chose your number/s (area code only)

                        2. Port my number (LOA notice required – information
                           sent after checkout)

                              a. Enter existing number(s)

                              b. Enter existing carrier

                              c. Are you within contract with existing carrier

                 iii. Step 3. Account Information

                        1. Company information

                              a. Company Name

                              b. Current Phone

                              c. Current Fax

                              d. Address (city, postal...)

                        2. How many extensions (if business plan selected)

                              a. Based on value, input fields for following appear

                                     i. Extension #

                                    ii. First Name

                                    iii. Last Name

                                    iv. Email

                                    v. Feature set (Base Business, Business Plus,
                                       Mobility, Fax or postage)

                                    vi. Chose Hardware for extension (pull from
                                        admin)

                              b. With phone orders 6 or more phones, may
                                 require professional services.

                              c. Option to select – ‘Professional installation
                                 required – extra fees apply’ (from admin section
                                 – feeA x # of extensions)

                 iv. Step 4 – Additional features & e911

                        1. Display additional features from admin section, option
                           to tick off extra’s required

                        2. Note: 911 is mandatory @ $0.99

                              a. If phones will be in different locations then the
                                 main address, please click ‘e911 Diversity’ to
                                 enabled e911 on a per extension basis (.99 x all
                                 extensions selected from step 2)

                              a. Display e911 policy statement (can get from
                                 Telair.ca)

                                       i. Option to add 911 per extension if location
                                          is different. (mechanism up to developer)

                 vii. Step 5 – Billing information

                         1. Enter direct debit or credit card info (make nice
                            selection before displaying fields)

                                a. See http://secure.telair.ca/pap for direct debit

                                b. Use standard credit card fields for CC.

                         2. Coupon, voucher code or referral (codes created in mini
                            admin portal)

                         3. If 30+ extensions have been selected, the payment
                            option by cheque is available. (No more information
                            required)

                 viii. Step 6- Verify Order + add additional features)

                         1. Able to edit any fields.

                         2. If coupon entered that appropriate discount should
                            display

                                a. Coupon code can be

                                       i. % discount

                                      ii. $ discount

                                     iii. Waived one time fees

                                     iv. ...

                         3. Should calculate total recurring and non recurring
                            charges separate lines (see estimate template we use)

                         4. Display shipping calculation.

                         5. IMPORTANT: should auto calculate any instant savings
                            and discounts based on number of extensions AND
                            display instant savings on this report. (calculations %
                            based on volume discounts from admin page)

                         6. Bottom to display optional checkout items, if confirmed,
                            then step 6 to re-display with updated amounts.

                  ix. Step 7 – Complete / receipt

                         1. Email should be sent to person registering with receipt
                            and confirmation.

                         2. Email notifications sent to sales managers

             b. All accounts that aren’t completed during signup should send
                collected information to sales manager email. (sales@telair.ca)

                    i. Subject: [TA Web Signup] - Uncompleted

             c. Welcome package to be emailed 1 hour after confirmation sent out.
                Welcome package to be created by Telair team. (template to be
                provided, and bcc to orders@telair.ca

             d. Auto Attendant PHP collection form also required after checkout.
                (single php form to be emailed back to orders@telair.ca) image
                samples to be provided.

2.2    Deliverables
       The deliverables for this project will be the software / module that is produced
       to complete the registration application. Other deliverables for the project are:

        Installation Instructions
        Client Acceptance Test Plan
