MILLION DOLLAR PROJECT BY: ASHLEY GROCHAU $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ CHARITY I would divide the 100,000 dollars up and donate 1/3 of the money to an animal shelter, another third to a charity, and last but not least, the rest to my church. COLLEGE The college I would go to is Washington University. Just estimating, the cost would be $50,000 for 4 years. CAR The type of car I would buy would be a black Ford Explorer. The price is $35,585. HOUSE The house I bought is in Tennessee. It has two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. In 2006, the house was built. There are 15 acres of rolling hills. I would go to Fairview Elementary, Middle and High School. Gifts This little guy is for my dad who grew up with dogs. He is $1,397.00. Isn’t he cute? The dog with a purple/pink arrow pointing at it is the dog I’m getting for my sister, Megan. She is $400.00. The gift for my mom is a baby sitter. The price is $12.00 an hour. Last, a fire truck for my brother, Hunter. The price is $39,500.00 Vacation I would go on a 5 night cruise called “Western Caribbean”. The price is $549.00 a night. There are 6 days. On the first day, I would leave the port at 5:00 p.m. For the 2nd and 5th day, we would be sailing on the ocean. “Third day, Roatan , Bay Islands, and Honduras,’’ is what the speaker phone would say. E-PALS If my e-PaL came to America, I would take her to 5 places. Those places would be the Statue of Liberty, a cruise around the Caribbean, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and the St. Louis Arch. GIFT FOR TEACHER I would get Mrs. Simmons 2 season tickets for a Georgia Bulldog game. Each ticket costs $1,889.00. FURNITURE The total cost of my home furnishings is $12,505.44. SAGA Dear Reader, You probably learned that I HATE the Georgia Bulldogs but more importantly, prices are more than you think they are. I wish the million dollars were real.
