Lake Norman High School Parking Driving Application
To be eligible for a parking space at LNHS you must meet the following criteria:
1. Senior, Junior or Sophomore
2. Provide a valid copy of your North Carolina Drivers License
3. Provide proof of Auto Insurance (copies of Insurance Card and vehicle registration card)
4. Have no unpaid school fees (Seniors must pay senior fees of $55.00 before a permit can is issued)

Parking Permit is $40.00 Payment should be made on line using the LNHS home page. Please
include a copy of your receipt or the order number from your online payment.

Student Drivers, please read carefully before signing.
CARS WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE FOR FAILING TO COMPLY
WITH THE FOLLOWING RULES:
I understand driving and parking a car or truck on campus is a privilege and agree to obey all school rules regarding a
motor vehicle on Iredell-Statesville School grounds. I understand failure to comply will result in loss of driving and
parking privileges as well as all parking fees. Lake Norman High School Administration reserves the right to withdraw
parking privileges at any time upon VERBAL notification to the student and/or parent/guardian. Any vehicle parked
on the LNHS campus is subject to search by Administration when there is reasonable suspicion.
LOSS of DRIVING/PARKING PRIVILEGES and or TICKETS/FINES will be
issued for the following reasons at Lake Norman High School:
Passing cars in the loop or in the parking lots unnecessarily while entering or exiting, double parking while exiting school
grounds in the loop, driving through the faculty lot, parking in handicapped spaces without proper credentials,
intentionally driving in the grass or over the curbs, reckless driving, parking in an unauthorized space, not permanently
affixing your parking sticker to the windshield of the registered vehicle, parking a non-registered vehicle at LNHS
during normal operating school hours, not properly parking, speeding through the campus, spinning tires on campus,
noncompliance with traffic patterns, no loitering in vehicles, numerous discipline infractions, having drugs or alcohol in
the vehicle and any other offense deemed UNSAFE BY THE ADMINISTRATION AND OR THEIR DESIGNEES(S).

Parking permits will be issued as we receive your completed application and all required information including
payment of your parking permit and payment of any unpaid school fees.
Parking Permits are only being assigned through the mail!
NO PARKING PERMITS WILL BE ISSUED TO WALK-INS!!
Check list of what is required for a parking permit:

_________ 3. Provide a copy of auto insurance (Please note: insurance MUST list either the vehicle or the driver)
_________ 4. Provide a copy of Vehicle registration
_________ 5. Take care of all unpaid school fees (Please note: All AP fees must be paid by Sept. 30th, if you have a
parking space and your AP fees are not paid by Sept. 30th you will lose your parking space.)
_________ 6. Include parking payment of $40.00.
If you pay on-line, please include a copy of your on-line receipt or the order number.
If you pay by check, please include a phone number on the check.
_________ 7. Seniors MUST pay their senior dues of $55.00 before a parking permit can be issued. The total for a
senior would be $95.00 ($40.00 for the parking spot and $55.00 for senior dues).

Stock card paper for awards

Payment should be made on-line using the LNHS home page. When paying on-line, please include a copy of your
receipt or the order number. If you pay by check, please include a phone number on your check.
Students who meet the requirements for a parking permit can pick up their parking stickers on the following
dates:
Aug. 13th (Seniors only) (8:30 – 11:30, 1:00 – 4:00)
Aug. 14th Seniors and Underclassmen (8:30 – 11:30, 1:00 – 4:00)
Aug. 15th Seniors and Underclassmen (8:30 – 11:30, 1:00 – 4:00)
Aug. 16th Seniors and Underclassmen (8:30 – 11:30, 1:00 – 4:00)
If you lose your stickers there is a $10.00 replacement fee.
