Game Concept Statement:

1nsane Racing League will be a racing simulator like no other. It will take place on
different plants in our solar system, aswell as Alpha Centauri, and Epsilion Draconis, in
the year 2110. The user will be pitted against 6 different alien races, 2 in each solar
system. The races consist of the Peenysarr, The Turkoids, The Bananians, The
Badgeronians, The Wilsocons, and The Boids. Each alien race will have their own
unique type of vehicle as the user but with different strenghts and weaknesses.

We are trying to create a totally new style of racing simulator to give the user a
pleasurable and memorable racing experience.

Game Goals:

   to create an new and innovative racing simulator

Game Info:

1nsane Racing League will be a racing simulator like no other. It will take place on
different plants in our solar system, aswell as Alpha Centauri, and Epsilion Draconis, in
the year 2110. The user will be pitted against 6 different alien races, 2 in each solar
system. The races consist of the Peenysarr, The Turkoids, The Bananians, The
Badgeronians, The Wilsocons, and The Boids. Each alien race will have their own
unique type of vehicle as the user but with different strenghts and weaknesses. The user
will be able to unlock all of the vehicles as he defeats the different alien races.

The vehicles will be quite complex, they will be able to transform in the middle of a race,
at high speeds. The vehicle will start off in one of 5 different classes of vehicles (car, jet,
boat, hover craft, submarine) depending on how the level designer chooses to have each
race start. Throughout the race the user will pass through checkpoints which will record
the users time, and transform the vehicle so it can continue onto the next stage. The
possibilities are endless, a race can go from driving in a car, to flying in an air plane, to a
hover craft, etc.

There will be 4 Modes of play, Champion Mode, Free Race Mode, and Multiplayer for
each mode.

Target Audience:
Our target audience should be comprised of teen males, aswell as adult males. We will
also be targetting current fans of racing games, aswell as trying to lure in some new fans
of the genre.

previous racing simulators:

Game Structure Analysis:

       Modes:
       4 Different Modes of play:

        Champion Mode: The user goes through the 3 different solar systems winning
races on the selected planets, to become the best racer in the universe. This is where all
of the tracks and vehicles will be unlocked.

       Multiplayer Champion Mode: Users can setup a team to become the strongest
team in the universe over a TCP/IP Internet connection. The races will contain more
laps, more enemies that are also faster and more aggressive, less turbo boosts.

        Free Race Mode: This mode provides the user with time to practice. The user
will be able to decide if they want to practice against opponents, or against a clock, or
against oponents and a clock, or none at all. The user will only be able to start out on the
Earth track with the Earth vehicles unless other tracks and vehicles have been unlocked in
Champion mode. Once all of the tracks and levels have been unlocked the user will
unlock a special feature that will allow the user to play any vehicle on any track.

        Multiplayer Free Race Mode: This will provide the user the ability to customize
races over a TCP/IP Internet connection. The user will only be able to play tracks that
either (s)he has unlocked or that their online opponent has unlocked. The game will
determine which user has which tracks and which vehicles unlocked and allow usage
based on whoever has unlocked the most items in Champion mode. The special feature
will not be used in this portion of Free Race Mode and the user will be able to use any
unlocked vehicle on any unlocked track.

       Vehicles Transformations:

      Car: An unknown concept car that is able to reach speeds of ~200 miles per hour.
Mild Driving difficulty.
     Boat: Donza 42 ZR RC, travels at ~50 miles per hour. Unstable at high speeds.
Medium Driving difficulty.

        Jet: X-42, secret government project, developed for the 1nsane Racing League,
travels at Mach 2. Medium Driving Difficulty.

       Sub-Marine: Underwater Concepts XC 38, racing submarine, travels at ~110
miles per hour. Mild driving diffuculty.

        Hover Craft: Homebuilt hover craft, travels at ~90 miles per hour. Difficult to
turn, possible learning curve. Hard Driving Difficulty.

       Other Vehicles:

        Space Ship: Excalibur 4000 Star Clipper, travels at the speed of light, no
difficulty it pilots itself. Large enough to carry your crew and vehicles.
