                                           Commissioner Morman Hires Jack Rodriguez
                                            To Oversee Road, Bridge & Infrastructure


               Harris County Precinct Two Commissioner Jack Morman announced today the addition of a seasoned
          engineering professional to manage the precinct road and bridge operations.

               Jack Rodriguez, a 24 year veteran of Harris County will begin his role as Director of Road, Bridge and
          Capital Improvements effective immediately.

               “I consider this the most important function of Precinct Two,” Commissioner Morman said. “I am
          confident that we have hired the best leader for the job to see to it that infrastructure ranging from
          neighborhood streets to our Washburn Tunnel are maintained and built to the highest standards and within
          reasonable costs.”

               Rodriguez’ role includes management of road expansion projects, traffic signals and intersection
          improvements and traffic management systems designed to improve mobility and improve air quality. He
          will also be involved in development, planning and regulation of county infrastructure within the precinct
          including drainage projects.

               “Commissioner Morman has made it clear that he wants to see an efficient and effective operation. I
          am looking for ways to cuts costs, improve our service and make sure we get jobs done on time and on
          budget,” said Rodriguez.
