WHAT WE ARE ABOUT
Vendu Cape Auctions is a Black Empowerment Auctioneering Company.
We appear on most of the Bank panels. We specialise in the Auctioneering of fixed
properties, movable assets of any type, repossessed and privately owned motor vehicles and
trucks, earthmoving equipment, machine tools and aircraft.
No staff member is directly or indirectly connected with Liquidators or Trustees.
Monies received from Auctions are held in a Trust account until finalisation and then
accounted for as expeditiously as possible.
Except Auctions, we also provide services like private negotiations, tenders and boardroom
Warehouse in Joostenberg Vlakte & Parow undercover 1000m2, locked and manned 24
hours by Security Guards.
Goods are sealed and stacked, computer-loaded, numbered in sequence and catalogued for
easy reference. The Company prides itself on its fully integrated and state-of-the-art
computerised Network System. This allows for instant invoices at Auctions, ensuring
prompt payments, accurate Vendu Roll figures and stock levels.
Auction preparation is professionally planned by qualified management for swift and
smoothly run Auctions. We have secured undercovered premises for 100 vehicles.
Collection and storage of all assets and different types of vehicles smoothly done.
Pre-auction clean up a necessity
Valuations are done by highly qualified Valuators. Clear, colourful signboards are placed
strategically in the area giving details of the forthcoming Auction. City Council enquiries, if
required, can be organised by our Property Staff.

Easy to distinguish Vendu Cape Auctions’ adverts to be placed in the main newspapers.
These adverts will be telefaxed to regular buyers who attend our Auctions
We have been involved in the past year with the administration and winding up of numerous
deceased and liquidation estates.
VENDU CAPE DRIVING TEAM
Moses holds higher teachers Diploma(1978) from Hewett College and a BA degree(1990) from
UWC. He also holds a Personnel & Training Management Diploma from Damelin
Management School(1998). Moses taught at various schools, and rose to the level of deputy
principal at a large primary school before leaving to pursue a private sector career.
Moses functioned as a Property Estate Agent from 1997. He joined Bashabi Auctions (part of
Park Village Auctions) on 1 October 2002 as General Manager.During his period with Bashabi
Auctions, Moses was trained by Park Village in Johannesburg.In August 2003 Moses moved on
to establish Vendu Cape Auctions, an independent black owned auctioneering business.He has
been appointed as Appraiser in terms of sect.6 (1) (Act of 1965)(July 2004).Moses was in 2003
accepted as a candidate of The South African Institute of Auctioneers (S.A.I.A.),the recognised
body of South African Auctioneers.
Roy Barendse obtained a Baccalareus Procurationis degree from the University of the Western
Cape during 1985 and was admitted as an attorney during 1989. He is practicing law as a
director in one of the leading law firms in the country.
Llewellyn Delport is a mining executive with 20 years experience with a leading multinational
Mining group. He holds the degree BSc (Chemical Engineering) (UCT, 1983 ) and an MBA
(GSB UCT, 2002 ) He was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of a leading multinational
Mining group in 2004.(Trans Hex Group)
