I booked the above holiday with you [dates, location, hotel, price]. Today, [……] days
before I am due to go on holiday, you have advised me that you are imposing a surcharge
of [……] to cover your increased costs.
Since the surcharge represents more than 10 per cent of the price of the holiday, it
amounts to a ‘significant’ change to my holiday. I am therefore legally entitled to cancel
the holiday and receive a full refund from you.
Please regard this letter as formal notice of my cancellation of the holiday. I look forward
to your refund of the full price of the holiday within seven days.
