Gift in Kind (GIK) Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Reporting to: Director, International Programs
Job Region: cbm Canada – Stouffville, ON

Role Description:
To coordinate the overall GIK function to achieve GIK procurement and
distribution targets while adhering to budget and allocation objectives.
To develop and implement best practices for database management,
inventory control, and logistics.
Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with cbm Regional Office
contacts
Manage international shipping
Budgeting and management of expense controls
Inventory management, keeping stock control systems up to date
Maintain accurate records and statistics
Liaise with auditors on GIK matters
Collaborates with Donor Services on recording and Receipting for GIK
Ensures adherence to Canadian Revenue Agency requirements
regarding Gift in Kind
Key Objective:
Build GIK as an important revenue stream for cbm Canada
Skill, Knowledge and Competency Requirements:
Demonstrated finance management and problem solving skills
Excellent computer skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills associated with the development and
maintenance of multiple client/partner relationships
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Knowledge of international shipping procedures and experience,
working effectively with shipping agents
Pre-Requisite:
Minimum 2 years of related experience in finance and administrative
management
