Summer Therapy Aide for You will have the chance to work with our therapists as together we teach children with 616-559-1054
Summer Therapy and Fun disabilities to walk, talk, learn and play. You will join us every Tuesday, Wednesday
Program and Thursday morning from 8am to noon from late-June through early August 2007.
Many of our therapy aides return year after year because they love the friendships they
develop with our young clients.
Big Brothers Big Sisters The Big Brothers Big Sisters School-Based Mentoring Program serves children between 616-774-0798
School-Based Mentoring the ages of 5 and 15 who are currently attending school. These children are identified by
Program school personnel and are considered likely to benefit from a one-on-one relationship with
a mentor. Mentors spend time with a child on a weekly basis.

Animal Lovers, Horse Lovers We at The Equest Center for Therapeutic in Rockford offer a unique therapy experience 616-866-3066
for those who are physically and mentally challenged. Our therapy involves the horse as
the therapy catalyst. Our volunteers help prepare horses for classes and assist with riders
in the riding arena. All hands-on trainings are available in our barn.

Garden garden as a learning experience. It is very rewarding. This job requires standing for a
few hours at a time and is an outdoor experience, so the weather can vary.
Frederik Meijer Garden A docent is a tour guide. Docents introduce plant and sculpture collections to visitors, 616-974-5221
Docent thereby enhancing the experience for everyone who visits the Gardens. Docenting can
involve leading tours of adults, children or just being available as an ASK ME docent,
fielding questions about the Gardens.
