informed food choices that contribute
to a healthy diet.

Have 2 Parts
1. Product-Specific Information-

• Now that we know what to look
for and what to avoid, we will
go on a scavenger hunt.
• INSTRUCTIONS:
• Leave your “Nutrition Facts” food
label at your desk. All other
belongings should go on the floor
under your desk. Place your food
label up so that others can easily
see it without having to turn it
over!

• Find ~2400 Calories COMBINED in 10 foods or
less
• Challenge!! Exactly 10 foods with between 2300 and
2500 COMBINED calories
• Assignment # 2
• Find 5 servings of foods with a combined 30
grams of fat or less
• Challenge!! Combined 15 grams of fat or less
• Assignment # 3
• Find 5 servings of foods with 20 grams of sugar
or less
• Challenge!! 7 servings of food
