Responsibilities included managing a nine person purchasing team handling diverse product lines including Toshiba, Cisco,
Enterprise Systems, third party memory, third party PC lines, networking, warranties, and assorted accessory lines.
   Restructured the team’s responsibilities and processes to operate more efficiently with a 33% reduction in headcount.
   Managed the closure of Insight’s Indianapolis warehouse and the transfer of over $15 million in inventory, coordinating with
    Management in Tempe and Chicago, 36 Buyers and Sr. Buyers, and warehouse Logistics Managers in both warehouses.
   Created and implemented the current Insight process for handling forecasts for customer rollouts.
   Negotiated a $15 million buy-in which resulted in extended terms, $400,000 backend funds and reconciliation of old rebates
    resulting in a payment of approximately $1 million.
   Headed the Purchasing Management Team in several different initiatives including the development and implementation of
    the Purchasing Department Standards, the Purchasing “Passport to Profit” sales training program for SMB, and design and
    maintenance of the department intranet page.
