requesting institution will provide.
Obligations of the Requesting Institution in the case of the Project Request being
approved
a. Request for disbursement of funds
This must be channeled through the respective National Section. Sections will receive
notification from the General Secretariat after the end of the Directing Council or
General Assembly. Afterwards, when the Request for Approved Funds is received,
duly authorized by the President of the respective Commission of the PAIGH, 50% of
the amount approved by the Directing Council or General Assembly will be disbursed.
These funds, intended to initiate the Project, will be transferred under the responsibility
of the respective National Section.
b. Rendering of accounts
The person responsible for the project, with the endorsement of the requesting
institution, must render accounts via the National Section, with original vouchers, in a
trimester form, or before requesting a second disbursement of funds.
All rendering of accounts must be presented no later than 30 days after the conclusion
of the activity. If the activity continues into the following fiscal period a partial rendering
of accounts must be presented before 30 NOVEMBER OF THE YEAR IN PROGRESS,
and a final rendering of accounts when the activity concludes. The Secretary General
cannot disburse more funds for projects that do not comply with this requirement and
will thus communicate the same to the respective President of the National Section and
the Commission President. The person responsible for the project will lose the right to
present new projects.
c. Technical Report on Advances
The person responsible, with the endorsement of the requesting institution, must
present the Advance Report to the General Secretariat with copies to the Commission
and National Section, on a trimester basis or before requesting a second disbursement
of funds.
d. Final Technical Report
The person responsible, with the endorsement of the requesting institution, must
present the Final Report to the General Secretariat with copies to the respective
Commission and National Section.
The Report will consist of:
- A listing of presentations by participants in the project (in the case of technical
meetings with invited speakers on specific themes).
- Results in relation to the objectives and goals of the Project.
4
- An article written by the person responsible for the Project for possible publication
in the corresponding journal.
- A financial Report or rendering of accounts.
Independent of moral rights, all rights will remain with the PAIGH, including those of title,
author, and of patent of whatever work is financed by the PAIGH, or that which is undertaken
by one of its members, whatever their status may be, as part of their official tasks. In the
case of co-participation of other institutions, the PAIGH will concede to co-publication (that
would be expressly stipulated), or simultaneous publication, credit always being noted to the
PAIGH.
The Requesting Institution and the Responsible person are in agreement with the above content
and manifest their conformity with the resulting obligations of the same.
