Furiously fought video and music piracy, leaving no stones unturned
CHAIRMAN in running after syndicates and individuals involved in this illegal
Videogram trade. The VRB was able to conduct 3480 major operations including
Regulatory Board routine inspections throughout the country which delivered over 5
July 2002 to January Billion pesos worth of goods seized, convicted 21 optical disc pirates,
2004 2 videotape pirates and 5 large-scale distributors and retailers during
the entire term.
Successfully gave the province a new face by transforming its image
from being a notorious murder capital to one of the most peaceful
provinces in the country. Paid attention to the improvement of
facilities, equipment and manpower of the Philippine National Police
PROVINCIAL and other public order agencies. Gave priority to social and industrial
GOVERNOR development by pursuing various related projects. The Cavite Rescue
Province of Cavite 161, Cavite Computer Center and the Cavite-Korea Friendship
February 1998 to Hospital were conceptualized and established to give immediate
June 2001 response and preference to the needs of the people of Cavite. Projects
like the Cavite Sports Complex and the Cavite Convention Center
were also commenced during this time. The Proposed Conceptual
Provincial Development Plan of Cavite which was also called Vision
2020 was also prepared and presented during this term.
PROVINCIAL Supported and implemented anti-drug programs of the Province as
VICE-GOVERNOR Chairman of the Cavite Multi-Agency Anti Drug Council (CMAC)
Province of Cavite which led to the biggest drug haul and apprehension in the
July 1995 to January Philippines. Supported likewise, environmental protection projects as
