Min No 232/2005 – The Stables/Jovike
Mr M Hamlin informed us by email that a number of site visits had been carried out. A letter was
sent to the owners on 14 July 05 requesting that they cease car sales on the site. Monitoring of the
site will continue.

250/2005 CONSIDERATION OF PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Decisions were reported as at Appendix B.
Appeal Decision – TP/2003/0692 – Belmont Stores, 257 Nine Mile Ride
Parish Council has objected to Area A. Subject to correction of the alleged breach of
control, the enforcement notice is upheld and planning permission is refused.
O/2005/4321 – Land adjoining Brambletye, New Mill Road Finchampstead
The Parish Council had no objections. Outline application for the proposed erection of 2
detached dwellings with garages. Means of access to be considered
253/2005 CORRESPONDENCE AND OTHER MATTERS
1. Street Naming & Numbering – List of Approved Names. The Clerk will let WDC know
that FPC would like to consider each development when an application for new names
2. SPISE Information. The Clerk will pass details of Workshop being held on 29th
September to Cllr Milne.
3. Letter from Richard Copas, Oxford Brooks University student, survey and
questionnaire. Form completed.
4. Application for Premises Licence – Conversion & Variation by the Greyhound Public
House comments required by 25/8/05. Cllr Mrs Newcombe will consult with Cllr
5. Queens Oak Licence – Objections sent to variation of hours.
6. Cllr Mrs Driver asked that a letter be written to WDC regarding the yellow central
refuge barrier at California Crossroads, and painting the lampstands green.
7. Cllrs Mrs Hughes and S Weeks attended the meeting on 19th July 2005 to discuss the
Gorse Ride Community Development. In view of the discussions Cllr Mrs Hughes
suggested an invitation should be extended to the Rides Association to meet the
parish council to share views on the way forward. The Clerk will inform the Chairman.
