The on-going battle for “Retention”
As the club works to grow our “Branches” to the
point where they may become “Clubs,” we are now
working on a “Community Needs Assessment” to
determine potential service projects for our new
Branches.
The Lions Community Needs Assessment
Find a purpose for your new Club Branch!
Find a RENEWED purpose for your Parent Club!
Interact with community leaders to identify needs and to
inform them of Lions activities.
Find new potential members!
Mentoring Level 3 checklist. Community Needs Assessment
Compose a cover
letter to explain the
process to approx.
6 - 10 community
leaders in your field of
interest.
We have identified 10
Areas of Expertise in our
community, but you may
have more or less in
your community.
Then we have one or
two Lions assigned to
collect 6-10 completed
questionnaires in each
area.
Results are shared with Parent
Club and with all branches to
determine needs and potential
projects.
Each Lion who collects their 6-10
completed questionnaires is
checked off on Mentoring Level 3
–Community Needs Assessment.
Single page Questionnaire may
be folded and mailed or placed in
a window envelope…
