Congratulations on an outstanding season and welcome to the 2012 USSSA Fast
USSSA World Series Pitch World Series Tournament. The World Series Tournament will be held in
Quick Facts Rockford/Loves Park, IL. Games will be played at Veteran’s Memorial Sportscore
(Sportscore One), and Harlem Sports Complex, July 25 - 29, 2012. This tournament

Email ilusssa@t6b.com The USSSA Fast Pitch program will use a 5-game guarantee format in its World
IL web site Series Tournament. Teams will be seeded into pools based on current USSSA
www.ilusssa.com ranking points and play a round robin. All teams will be seeded into a double
elimination championship bracket following pool play. Seeding will be based on
Tournament Hosts pool finish. The exact format of the tournament, e.g., number of games, number of
teams in each pool, etc., will be set by the tournament director following USSSA
Fast Pitch guidelines as approved by the USSSA Fast Pitch National Committee.

To guarantee your spot in the tournament, your team will need to complete the
online entry process. All entries must be made through the www.usssa.com
website. You will be required to submit your entry and payment online. At this
point it will be subject to approval by your state director. Once approved, your

World Series. Tournament rules and park rules will be discussed.

All teams will be required to check-in prior to the event.
Managers may check their team in at the Manager’s Breakfast/Meeting and please
bring 3 vital documents. (1). Team roster on the printed USSSA Team Roster form
with all required signatures. (2). A copy of your team’s birth certificates/booklet to
verify your team roster. (3). A copy of your Insurance Certificate for the current
season.

RAHMA (Rockford Area Mom’s Breakfast
Hotel/Motel Association) A Mom’s breakfast will be held for the Team’s Mom who has worked so hard
keeping all things organized for the team. Two (2) Mom’s per team are invited to a
special breakfast just for Mom (no little one’s please, this is for adults, only).
Special door prizes to the Moms who attend. This will be held at Cliffbreakers
Tournament Locations Resort from 7:30am until 11am for Mom to stop by on the way to or from the
Veteran’s Memorial
ballpark on Wednesday, July 25. More info to be emailed to Team Manager.

Gift Exchange
There will be a non-mandatory team gift exchange during one of your pool play games.
Rockford Area Teams wishing to participate should bring something that is representative of their home
Convention & Visitors area, the value of which is not important. It is recommended that teams bring a minimum
Bureau of 16 gifts to exchange. Please indicate on registration form if you wish to participate.

m Spectator Admission is as follows: $10 per adult per day or $40 per adult for a
Rockford Park District tournament pass. (Pre-paid Adult passes, only are reduced $5/pass on the World
RAHMA (Rockford Area Series web site) For students ages 12-17 it is $5 per day or $20 for a tournament
Hotel/Motel Association) pass. Children under 12 are free. This charge includes everyone except players and
team coaches. A maximum of 3 coach passes and 20 player passes will be issued.
Player passes will only be issued to those listed on the submitted roster, and only
players in uniform will be allowed to enter on a player pass.

brackets will be given to coaches during the Manager’s Meeting. Player, coach and other
Tournament Hosts pre-tournament items will also be distributed at the team check-in.

Note that all times are subject to change. Please verify itinerary during team check-in.
Once the tournament begins, managers must check the main bracket board for any
changes in game times, field assignments or other items related to tournament play or
functions.

Skills Competition
A skills competition of throwing, running, hitting will be held during the World Series. More

Contact Info We are planning a very extensive tournament program with lots of information, including

Rockford Park District pictures. USSSA has created a new format for us to get this data. On your USSSA.com
RAHMA (Rockford Area Official Roster, you will select a feature called “Advanced Roster.” This feature will allow

including name, number, batting hand, throwing hand, and positions played. Deadline for
submission is July 1, 2012. The sooner you can send your info the greater chance all your
team info can be in the program.

You will not be able to practice on the tournament diamonds but there are many
