III. Candidate assessment: All programs will establish and publish clear, valid, and reliable criteria and procedures for assessing
candidate competencies upon entry to program, at key points throughout the program, and upon program exit. The criteria and
procedures should be consequential in that they will determine candidate admission, need for additional assistance or challenge,
suitability for remaining in the program, and qualification for receiving degree or credential.
