Senate passed H.R. 976, the State Children’s Insurance Program Amendment Act (SCHIP Act). Senate agreed to the conference report to accompany H.R. 2272, 21st Century Competitiveness Act. Senate concurred in the amendment of the House to S. 1, Legislative Transparency and Accountability Act. The House passed H.R. 3161, the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2008.
