Swimming Events: This is a prelim and final meet. All preliminary swimming will be done on Friday,
December 110, 2010. Both pools will be used. Boys will swim in the east end of the pool, while girls will
swim in the west end of the pool (diving well). Official high school order of swimming events will be
followed with the 3m diving events being 25 and 26. Top sixteen places will be swum in finals on
Saturday, December 11, 2010. Places 9-16 will be swum in consolation finals. Places 1-8 will be swum
in finals.

Diving Events: All diving will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010. 1m diving will consist of 11
dives. Both girls and boys diving will be conducted at the same time. Girls will dive on one set of boards
and boys will dive on the other set of boards. 3m diving will consist of six dives following the 1m
competition.

Scoring: Individual places will be scored to sixteen places. Relays will be scored to sixteen places
double that of individual events.

Awards: Individual awards will consist of medals for the top three finalists in each event including
relays. Ribbons will be awarded for fourth through eighth places including relays.

Entries: Each team may make an unlimited number of entries in individual events. Swimmers or divers
may be entered in no more than four events, two of which must be relays. Each school is limited to two
relays in each relay event. All entries must be submitted using Hy-Tek software. No paper entries will be
accepted.


Deadline: All swimming and diving entries are due to Monica Rosales by e-mail at mmrosales@bisd.us
on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Diving sheets will be due as well, and must be faxed to (956) 504-6674
or e-mailed.
