          WHY DO KIDS BULLY?

• Because they see others doing it

• Because it's what they THINK you do if you
want to hang out with the cool crowd

• Because it makes them feel, stronger,
smarter, or better than the person they
     are bullying

• Because it keeps others from bullying them

• Because it’s funny - JUST KIDDING!

             WHAT DO YOU DO?

1. Always tell an adult – YES it is hard to do,
NO it is not snitching .. It’s called SMART!
& IF you have told an adult and nothing
     happened…TELL ANOTHER until someone
     LISTENS!!
2. Stay in a group. Kids who bully like to pick on
kids who are by themselves – it's easier and they're
more likely to get away with their bad behavior.
3. If you are being bullied ONLINE, don't reply!
Then, show an adult immediately! Responding only
makes it worse and then you become part of the
     problem too
4. If it feels safe, try to stand up for yourself or
   someone else.
This doesn't mean you should fight back or bully them
back. Instead, tell the person bullying you or another
that you don't like it and that they should stop! Keep it
simple. Say, “Please cut it out!", and then walk away.

5. Join clubs or take part in activities where you'll
meet other kids. Meet other kids who share your
interests and you might make some good friends!

NEVER STOP TRYING, NEVER GIVE IN or GIVE UP!
What do you do when you see it bullying?
