                Community Planning Principles
Whereas the Michigan Association of Planning (MAP) The Michigan
Association of Planning exists so that Michigan will consist of healthy,
safe, attractive, and successful communities built first and foremost on
quality community planning; and

Whereas the Michigan Association of Planning Board of Directors has
endorsed the attached Community Planning Principles; and

Whereas the Community Planning Principles are intended to be used as
a guide to define what constitutes "Quality Community Planning"; and

Whereas the Planning Commission of the (fill in Community name) strives
to promote quality community planning.

Now Therefore Be It Resolved that the Planning Commission of the (fill
in Community name) hereby adopts the attached Michigan Association of
Planning Community Planning Principles.
