									10-week Physical Activity Tracking Program Instructions For Capital BlueCross Members

    Register before the program starts:

   1. Before accessing the Physical Activity/Walking Works Exercise Program
      and Activity Tracker, you must register for a mycapbluecross.com
      account. If you do not already have an account, follow the steps in the
      included brochure.  
      Note: If pop-up blocking software is installed on your PC please click the
      icon and turn the pop-up blocker off (you will NOT be able to register with
      the pop-up blocker feature turned on)

   2. Once you have created an account and are logged on using your new ID and Password, you now
      have access to the many online services provided by Capital BlueCross, including the Better
      Health WorksSM Activity Tracker site.

   3. To access the Better Health WorksSM Activity Tracker site click on the ‘Better Health Works
      Activity Tracker’ hyperlink (on the right hand side of the page under ‘Better Health Works’)

   4. This will take you to the Better Health WorksSM Activity Tracker site. Click on the ‘Register for an
      upcoming campaign’ hyperlink (on the right hand side of the page under ‘My Campaign’)

   5. Enter Campaign Code (and click ‘Submit’): wwmc1011
    .
   6. You are now registered for your company’s Walking Works Exercise Program.

The 10-Week Physical Activity Tracking/Walking Works Program (October 10th – December 18th):

   1. Once the program starts, you will need to continue to track your activity. To access and re-access
      the tracker, go to www.capbluecross.com/walkingworks

   2. Click on the ‘My Walking Works’ hyperlink (in the center of the page) and login using your
      capbluecross.com User ID and Password.

   3. Click on the ‘Walking Works’ tab (at the top-center of the page) and enter your daily steps
      and/or activity and hit ‘submit’ for each day.
      Note: To help you succeed, you can also go to the ‘My Health & Goals’ tab and track personal
      goals throughout the campaign.

   4. Continue to follow steps 1-3 to login and track your activity throughout the program.
      Note: Each program week will run Monday morning through Sunday evening. Be sure to submit
      your weekly steps/activity each week by Tuesday at midnight so that your steps are included and
      counted in the weekly progress reports. For example, all steps/activity for the first week 10/10 –
      10/16 must be entered by midnight on 10/18 to be included in the week 1 report.
