Club president Bennett Edgerly called the meeting to order and all present
It was stated that dues need to be paid for the current semester. The dues
are $10.00 per semester, and the club is willing to waive the fee if a member
can show hardship.
Bennett stated that we need to replace one officer, the Treasurer, and we
would like to add a position of Liaison. Anyone interested in either of these
positions, please let us know as soon as possible.
Updates were given for PSI CHI and APAGS. If you want to join, please fill
out an application and return to Bennett. Induction into PSI CHI will take
place on October 25, 2007, in Flagstaff.
Updates were given on the international connections with UABC, Mexicali.
Approximately 30 students and faculty from Mexicali will be arriving on
campus at 2:00 this Friday, October 13, 2007. We would like as many
members as possible to join us for this event. We will give them a tour of
our campus, and there will be a reception with time for talking and
networking. At 4:00 the group will head to Flagstaff for a day of fun and
learning on the main NAU campus. Please let Dr. McCarthy know if you are
planning to attend.

April 10 – 13, 2008, and the Psychology Club would like to take a field trip to
A call was put out for research and a poster session. WPA will have a poster
session, and all interested are invited to submit their research to this

find the requirements and expectations for the session. The deadline to
submit an abstract is November 15th. WPA will be the first “trial run” for
the poster session. Students can make changes according to critiques given
at the WPA. The NAU Yuma deadline for our poster session is April 23,
2007. During the club meeting on April 23, professors will attend and judge
the posters. The winning poster will receive an all expenses paid trip to
Russia in July. Anyone working on this project may bring their work and
ideas to any Psychology Club meeting for helpful advice.
The embroidery store behind Blockbuster Videos on 4th Avenue and 24th

(t-shirt, golf shirt, polo, etc.) to the store and have it embroidered. You
may also have your name put on the shirt for an additional fee. It would be
nice if we all had one of these shirts to wear when we are attending
Psychology Club events.
Fundraising efforts for the ICP in Russia continue. Each club member should
have a copy of the fundraising letter and is asked to send out at least 10
