Date Incident Description and/or Those Involved
4/16/11 A Gaffney Ct. resident reported that their home was burglarized
during the overnight hours. Electronics worth $350.00 were
reported stolen.
4/16/11 Carl Odums, 24 of Somerset was arrested for possession of drug
paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Amwell Rd… Odums was
released after processing.
4/29/11 Scott Sutton, 40 of Hopewell was arrested for DWI at 9:44 p.m.
after it was reported that the black Ford he was driving had struck
parked vehicles on Bloomingdale Dr… Sutton obtained breath test
results of .06% blood alcohol and was released after also being
charged with; careless driving, failure to have his vehicle
inspected, leaving the scene of an accident, and failing to report an
accident.
5/1/11 Two seventeen year olds from Hillsborough were taken into
custody for possession of under 50 gms. of marijuana during
a traffic stop on New Amwell Rd. The matter has been referred to
the Hillsborough Police Juvenile Bureau for charges.
5/6/11 Jennifer Tozzi, 35 of Raritan was arrested for shoplifting at the Rt.
206 Kohl’s. Tozzi was reportedly caught by store security with
$1795.00 worth of jewelry and clothing in her purse and diaper
bag. Tozzi was released after processing.
5/9/11 CoPart on Camplain Rd. reported that a brown Chevrolet and
three green Toyotas, were stolen from it’s property sometime since
4/14/11. The value of the theft was reported to be $6708.
5/9/11 Robert Okeefe Jr., 29 of Hillsborough was arrested for DWI at
9:42 p.m. after the green Chevrolet he was operating was involved
in a crash on Triangle Rd… Okeefe obtained breath test results of
.14% blood alcohol and was released after processing.
5/10/11 Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a Camplain Rd. business.
Upon arrival it was determined that someone kicked in a panel on a
garage door in an attempt to burglarize the business. Nobody was
located inside the building and the owner reported that nothing
appeared to be taken. The investigation is being continued by the
Hillsborough Police Detective Bureau.
