CALL TO ORDER The president called the meeting to order at 7:50 P.M.
APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
Moved by Duncan seconded by Joy that Minutes be accepted.
MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
The Youth Dance went well. Next one scheduled for March 4, 2006
Christmas lights have been donated by members of the community.
Community Centre Expansion
A meeting about the expansion of the community centre will be held at the community centre on
February 7, 2006.
MCA made payment for the city insurance .
The nursery school will be looking after the carnival dance.
Peter received positive comments about the Christmas lights.
He received a letter from Janet Stavinga, about her web site.
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT
Absent – Pictures from Hawaii next month.
We have $11,726.04 in the bank.
There are some big bills that need to be paid.
Phone books are just about ready.
Police and Fire Department are going to be part of the Winter Carnival Parade.
Dave reported that there was a suggestion to include snow and ice sculptures as part of the
Winter Carnival events. He decided to pass on the idea this year.
Dave will talk to Saunders about getting a wagon for the parade.
Trying to organize an MCA float.
Dave needs money to get supplies for Winter Carnival.
Dave is stepping down as Social Director.
John called about the trails, to date no one has returned his call.
Peter talked about getting street lights along Munster Road.
Tracy and Shannon volunteered to be co-social directors.

Tracy gave out tickets for the Winter Carnival Dance.
