       A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and

honor of Regina Ayers DeRossette.

       With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Regina Ayers

DeRossette, and we pause in silent reverence for her soul.

       WHEREAS, Regina Ayers DeRossette was born on October 14, 1920, a native of

Warren County, Kentucky, and she traversed these earthly bounds on January 5, 2003;

and

       WHEREAS, Regina Ayers DeRossette was the loving daughter of the late Claude
Hill and Mildred Tabor Hill Burton, and she was the devoted wife of the late Sidney

Ayers and Comer DeRossette; she was the loving mother of a daughter, Neva Richards

and her husband, Jody Richards, of Bowling Green, a son, Charles Ayers of Indianapolis,

Indiana, and a stepdaughter, Janice Peterson of Bowling Green; she was the proud

grandmother of three grandchildren, and two stepgrandchildren; she was the proud great-

grandmother of six great-grandchildren and three great-stepgrandchildren; and she also

leaves behind a loving sister, Barbara Loftin of Bakersfield, California; and

       WHEREAS, Regina Ayers DeRossette was an esteemed member of the Warren

County community, where she was a member of Greenwood Park Church of Christ, and

she was a retired Fruit of the Loom seamstress; and

       WHEREAS, the passing of Regina Ayers DeRossette has left a void that cannot be

filled, and she is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

       NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the

Commonwealth of Kentucky:
       Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of

sorrow upon the passing of Regina Ayers DeRossette, and extends to her family and
friends its most heartfelt sympathy.

       Section 2.   When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in

loving memory and honor of Regina Ayers DeRossette.

       Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit
