Product Overview
Selling the Microsoft POS Bundles provides you with the opportunity to earn additional
revenues while helping your merchant better manage their business. The product is designed to
assist merchants in moving from a traditional cash register and stand-alone POS into an
integrated, fully supported Point of Sale solution. The TriSource Microsoft POS PowerPoint
presentation available in the agent portal provides you with a full list of the features and
functionality available with this product.

The product is broken out into two components. These components are the software required by
your merchant and the hardware configuration.

Microsoft Retail Dynamics software comes in two configurations, Point-of-Sale (POS) and
Retail Management System (RMS). The Retail Dynamics POS software provides most features
a merchant would need to operate a complete POS system at an affordable cost. The RMS
software costs a touch more, but provides additional functionality such as custom reports,
tracking receivables and employee hours.

The hardware configurations available for your merchant include either a premium, or value
bundle that come preconfigured with either the RMS or POS software. The hardware differences
include a touch screen monitor, a smaller footprint and the pole display design. If your merchant
happens to have an existing POS configuration that meets the requirements for running the Retail
Dynamics software, you may sell your merchant software, without additional hardware. This is
not recommended as configuration of the systems and compatibility can only be guaranteed
when purchased as a bundle.

Ordering Instructions
To order the Microsoft POS Bundle or software, please follow these steps to ensure a smooth
ordering process.

Complete the order form ensuring that the contact information, including the telephone and e-
mail are accurate. This information will be used when contacting the merchant for training.
TriSource will not be responsible for any cost associated with re-shipping of units to incorrect
addresses or delays caused by incorrect contact information.

           Please note: While you may utilize a single form for ordering multiple units for a single
           merchant, each unit will be treated as a separate order within the data entry system and
           will be assigned a separate V# for use in processing by TSYS.

Discuss shipping options with your merchant and determine the appropriate shipping method.
Shipping will be determined at the time of order entry and made available to Agent. If multiple
units are ordered at the same time, each physical unit will ship separately.

To assist in estimated shipping costs, you may utilize the measurements below and a shipping
estimator from either FedEX or UPS. Shipping originates from the Cincinnati vicinity.

Determine and select the appropriate financing options. If paying at the time of purchase, please
FedEx the order form, along with payment to TriSource Solutions, attention Craig Malsmam. It
is recommended that for financing and payment purposes that you add an estimated shipping cost
to the total being charged to your merchant, as the total will not be known until the order is
placed and shipped. TriSource will bill the agent or the agent may request from the finance
company the price of the hardware/software purchased plus the actual shipping. If the purchase
is paid in advance by the agent, any excess funds will be credited to the agent. Likewise, any
shortage in shipping fees will be debited to the agent.

Northern Leasing and Rapid Advance both have the capability to split fund payment to
TriSource and you as the agent for your markup above purchase price. You will need to
coordinate this with Rapid or Northern at the time of application submission by your merchant.
If your merchant elects to utilize Northern Leasing or Rapid Advance, please provide
documentation of agreements to TriSource along with a copy of the directions to Northern or
Rapid to split-fund payment to TriSource and the individual agent.

Please allow 48 hours from time of receipt of order by TriSource for shipping of hardware to the
merchant.

Training
Initial Set-up Training
Initial training will be provided over the telephone by Tri-City Retail. Your merchant will
receive two (2) hours of technical support/training over the phone to any merchant that purchases
any of the Microsoft® Dynamics® Hardware/Software Bundle Packages described above. The 2
hours of technical support is per unit. If your merchant does not utilize the full amount of time
allotted, the remaining time may be used for future technical support calls. This support is in
addition to the initial 30day software support provided by Microsoft. The following topics will
be available as part of the training:
           Hardware set-up;
           User Set-Up;
           Entering store and terminal information;
           Setting up Departments and Categories;
           Setting up Taxes;
           Setting up Tenders, including payment processing to TSYS;
           Setting up Items;
           Performing Sales, Returns, Voids;
           End-of-day procedures: Z-Report, payment reconciliation process.
TSYS makes no guarantee that all topics will be covered or that any specific topic will be
covered in its entirety. Each topic can take a minimum of fifteen (15) minutes to cover with the
end-user at a basic level. The merchant will receive documentation for each topic that explains
the steps necessary to enable each of the functional areas of the software. The Initial Set-up
Training is included in the price of each Hardware/Software Bundle Package.
Initial Set-up Training is not included for Software Only purchases.

The cost for additional support (subject to change by Tri-City Retail) is
           $125.00 - hourly rate
           $562.50 - 5 hour block

Optional Advanced Training and Ongoing Technical Support
Optional advanced training programs and ongoing technical support on hardware and Microsoft®
Dynamics® POS and RMS software applications, covering topics like Inventory Management,
Customer Database Management, Advanced Reporting and Accounting Integration, are available
to merchants/end-users directly from the training vendor for an additional cost.
All advanced training and ongoing technical support services sold to merchants will be billed
directly to the merchant/end-user. The merchant is also instructed to contact Tri-City retail for all
hardware support issues, including broken or damaged equipment.

Sales Support Materials
The following marketing services are available for your use in marketing the Microsoft POS
Bundle to your merchants: Demonstration CDs, Geo-Market Direct Mail, Telemarketing,
Customized Sales Sheets and Customized Sales Books. These Services are provided on a
customized one-off basis for TriSource clients.
Demonstration CDs
Microsoft Retail Management System (RMS) Demo CD's can be a very helpful tool to help sell
Microsoft's software solution. These CD's are full versions of the product that are good for 30
days from registration. Customers/merchants can get a feel for the entire POS software,
including the ability to use the demo CD's in cashier and manager mode. Also included are
sample databases so that customers/merchants can see what the software will look like when they
are fully operational. Available to purchase through TriSource.
Geo-Market Direct Mail (“GMDM”)
Geo-Market Direct Mail (“GMDM”) is a service provided in conjunction with TSYS where
TriSource can use GMDM templates designed for specific solutions or campaigns to design 8.5”
x 5.5” postcard mailers. All GMDM templates include logos and hardware images from the
vendors supporting each campaign as well as logos of TriSource or the registered ISO office.
Telemarketing Campaign
The Telemarketing Campaign is a service in which TSYS Representatives will make up to ten
(10) attempts to contact prospects on the client’s behalf to promote an event, promotion, or new
product. The TSYS FUSION Representative TriSource will work together with agents to create
call lists and scripts which shall be approved in writing prior to initiating the program. The call
list and script can be targeted to specific SIC groups and/or metro-markets. Any changes to the
call list or script must be approved in writing by both parties prior to implementation.
Customized Solution Sales Sheet
The Customized Solution Sales Sheet allows agents to design a customized, professional
looking, one-page sales sheet describing hardware, software and/or services, which can be
distributed to customers or prospects.
Customized Solutions Sales Sheets will be created by TSYS’ Vendor, ISV, or Agent marketing
departments in PDF, Photoshop, InDesign or Quark and will be designed with extra whitespace
to add approved logos and text.
Customized Solutions Sales Book
Customized Solutions Sales Book allows agents to design a customized, professional looking,
Solutions Sales Book describing the hardware, software and/or services, which can be distributed
to customers or prospects. The Customized Solutions Sales Books are 8.5 inches x 5.5 inches,
full color and approximately 16-24 pages in length.
Agents can review templates, add text, illustrations of their business content, and select Core and
Add-on Bundles that support their applications. Upon completion of the template, agents can
review the entire book online in PDF format, and approve or edit the design layout. A final proof
will be mailed to TRISOURCE for final written approval prior to production.
