Conference Evaluation Summary
This year’s CVCUE conference attracted over 250 participants including 200 teachers,
over 20 administrators, 20 students and 10 parents.
Over 40 speakers presented 39 sessions. Special strands included a student showcase, a
student film seminar, an administrative strand, and Texas Instruments strand. Two hands-
on labs were used for 6 sessions.
Over 15 vendors supported the conference by showcasing their classroom solutions and
provided door prizes for our drawing.
225 teachers and administrators registered for the conference with over 55% of the
participants submitting evaluation forms.
A rating of 5 = “excellent” and 1 = “poor” … 114 participants rated the 2005 conference.

Of those answering whether they will return next year or not, over 92% indicated they
would return next year.
Numerous positive comments were made on the high level of organization and value of
the conference. High praise for the food quality and hands-on sessions. The student film
seminar strand was well received and requested to return. The student showcase was
small but well attended and requested to return.
One participant wrote, “I drove all the way from Stockton and it was well worth it!”

Strongly request student work samples from all presenters.
Strongly request presenters to submit handout files for CVCUE web posting.
Organize students to capture sessions on video.
