Permanent skilled level position in the Building & Construction sector at Group 5 Housing in Gauteng in
South Africa (Gauteng).

Junior & Senior level skilled position within the Construction sector, specifically fast track low rise mass
residential and industrial steel and concrete structures
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:
Ability
work as part of a team
Contract notification of claims. Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors. Client correspondance.
Review tender bills, worksheets and drawings. Prepare buying schedule and finalise allowables.
Accurate and timeous valuations. Preperation and understanding of cost analysis.
Adjudication of prices. Placing supplier and sub-contractor orders. Accurate and timeous payments. Final
accounts.
Cost controls. On-site measurements.
Experience
Ability to work accurately
Minimum 3 years experience working on a construction site as a Quantity Surveyor
Problem solving abilities
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge
Experience in working with CCS is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
