									Highlights in Prince Edward County

Prince Edward County, located between Montreal and Toronto, east of Kingston and south of Belleville,
is a little piece of heaven at the heart of Ontario. The ‘island’ is separated from the mainland through a
network of bays and reaches. The County is one of Ontario’s best areas to explore and experience.

The region is a vast home to thousands of migrant birds during spring and fall. They park on the
beaches, bays and points as areas for recovery and staging. The winding shoreline, sand dunes, bluffs,
escarpment, and wetlands provide home to a diverse range of flora and fauna.

The county is sometimes referred to as Quinte’s Isle, Quinte, or PEC. Prince Edward County has a
number of provincial parks, but three famous parks are the following:

• Sandbanks Provincial Park is known for its large sand dune system --- the largest in the world,
beaches and camping.

• North Beach is famous for its fishing and boating activities.

• Lake on the Mountain is a mysterious piece of nature with odd features that leave people intrigued.

It is cloaked with mysteries and legends that trace back to the time of the early settlers.

Prince Edward County also has fourteen conservation areas, each offer magnificent birding
opportunities and chance to explore the County’s vast array of varied flora. Aside from the observation
and hiking activities, these areas are also excellent for mountain biking and cross-country skiing.

With all the fun yet exhausting activities at Prince Edward County, a relaxing place to come home to at
the end of the day is important. You will need it to help you regain strength for tomorrow. And there’s
no other summer rentals that can offer you b&b near the County’s hot spots, without being extremely
heavy on the pocket and without sacrificing the quality of the accommodation, than the Wayfarer Beach
House. The private suite comes with amenities that would make you feel like you’ve come home to
your very own home, only at Prince Edward County.

The Wayfarer Beach House is one of the many things that personally make me want to come back to the
County. Its location is just near the busy spots in the country but the suite has remained it ambient feel
and tranquility. If you have questions about the reservation and b&b rates, you may go ahead contact
them through their website at http://wayfarerbeachhouse.com.
