									Job Title:            Assistant Practice Manager

Hours:                As per contract

Report to:            Practice Manager

Responsible to:       Practice Manager


Purpose of post:

To be flexible and work as part of Reception team and management team at Claudy
Health centre providing a quality service to patients in an effective manner.


Responsibilities:


   1. Cover Reception duties in ……..Health Centre.
   2. Assist Primary Health Care Team with clerical procedures.
   3. To work as part of a rota including cover for 8.30am and 6.00pm and also to
       provide cover for sick leave and annual leave.
   4. Deputise for Practice Manager as and when required.
   5. Liase with Practice Manager in relation to QOF and GMS contract issues.
   6. Develop IT within Practice to improve effectiveness of procedures.
   7. Assist in investigating complaints and reporting thereon.
   8. Assist in preparation of target claims and audits.
   9. Attend meetings and provide minutes and agenda as requested.
   10. Participate in staff selection, training and assessment as appropriate.
   11. Partake in on call service for …..Health Centre.




   12. Maintain confidentiality at all times.
   13. Any other additional duties.
