The working hours of an average human exceeds 50 hours per
week yet there is not convenient platform to share documents
and information.
Academics-centric sites like IEEE, ACM, Science-Direct,
Google scholar are either paid sites or deal explicitly with
research papers and expositories.
Sites like gigapedia.com, enips.com, scribd.com are general
purpose document upload and public sharing sites.
These sites are cluttered with popular media, pirated ebooks,
pornographic content and general noise, reducing their
relevance to work and academics.
Academic discussion sites are generally meant for specific
discussions E.g., dsprelated.com

How to create a login?
Yahoo! ID:Login will take place via Yahoo! login id. Associate
multiple organizations with your Yahoo! ID by giving a valid
organization email id.
Confirmation email will accordingly give an account activate
link.
Your association can be challenged by other members, in
which case reconfirmation would be necessary.
Association with the organisation will be checked from time to
time.

How to access DocShare from your desktop?
The desktop widget will allow users to sign in and access
feeds from groups he subscribes to and from public threads.
He can reply to posts and create new documents from his
desktop widget.
When offline, the user can save drafts of his posts. One can
choose files to attach, the location of the posted file and
specify the security setting from the widget.
