Agenda Title: EXTENSION OF BANKING SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH US

The Board approved a three-year agreement with US Bank to provide the County with banking
services on June 6, 2000 for an estimated total three-year expenditure of $200,000. The term of the
agreement expires July 31, 2003 and the agreement includes an option to renew for one two-year
US Bank has served the County well over the past three years. Banking services include
deposit/disbursement accounts, electronic fund transfers (EFT), wires, automated clearing house
transactions (ACH), merchant bank card services, County credit cards and lockbox services for
property tax payments. We recommend the extension of the contract for the two-year renewal
DEPARTMENT’S REQUESTED ACTION:
Staff requests Board approval for a two-year renewal of the contract with US bank and an increase
in the contract amount of $130,000 through July 31, 2005.
