2011 Theme for Summer Games University is REVELATIONS

Cost of camp fee: $275 includes all room and board at Grinnell College.

Camp Check in: Monday, July 11th beginning at 9am until 10:30am
Pick up: Friday, July 15th at Noon

Dorms: The girls all have air conditioned dorm rooms. The boys have one dorm air conditioned
and one dorm is non-air conditioned. The rooms are double or single occupancy. The dorms are
secured 24 hours a day with entry only by a key card that only staff have during the week. The
boys and girls dorms are across campus from each other and they are not allowed in each other's
dorms. Besides our staff we also employ the 24 hour campus security who make rounds
continually including all night long.

Meals: The meals are served in Grinnell's college dining facility. The youth are served just like
the college youth. They serve a hot entree bar, salad bar, pizza bar, pasta bar, sandwich bar,
fresh fruit, dessert bar, etc. The meals are in 2 shifts to accommodate our size of camp.

Huddles: Each youth will be in a huddle with 8-10 youth and staff. The huddle is like a family
unit for the week and participate in most activities together.

Satellites: Each camper is able to choose 1 satellite that is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday afternoon. Each satellite is taught by coaches, professors or adults with the knowledge
and ability to lead a satellite. There are various sports, science, drama, photography, swimming,
and a local mission project to chose from. The list is available on the website.

Each day consists of:

 Breakfast/Huddle time ( Huddle time together to discuss issues, topics, lessons designed
to go with the theme for the week of camp) (Meals are into 2 sessions--so each huddle
will either be having a meal or huddle time)
 Morning games played with their huddle as their team (the games are ones that all youth
          can play)
 Morning worship; music provided by a live band and a speaker/pastor with a message
          related to weeks theme
 Lunch/Activity time (last year the activity was Minute to Win it games)
 Afternoon; Monday - get to know your huddle time, Tues, Wed, Thurs. - satellite time
      Break/shower time
      Dinner time/Huddle time
 Evening worship: music provided by a live band
      Evening break
 Worship continues with a speaker/pastor with a message related to the weeks theme
which will include praying with campers, foot washing, communion, and crucifixion
          pageant re-enactment throughout the week.
