Tonight, help TWC enrich our community
with the power of choral music.

The Washington Chorus believes we have a duty to expand our
reach to the community at large, and that we must also nurture
the next generation of choral singers and arts audiences. To
achieve these goals, The Washington Chorus runs the following
vital education and outreach programs, reaching hundreds of
individuals every year:
• Outreach Singers Free concerts of uplifting and engaging
choral music throughout the Washington metropolitan area,
reaching those who cannot otherwise attend concerts.
• Tickets for Teens Each year we donate approximately 600
tickets and educational materials to local high schools. Priority is
given to schools from economically disadvantaged neighborhoods.
• Junior Washington Chorus Our newest educational initia-
tive, created in 2009, gives talented young singers a unique
opportunity to expand their musical education and perform-
ance opportunities through singing significant choral works.
• Side-by-Side Program Our Side by Side partner high school
program gives talented high school choirs the opportunity to
perform with TWC and gain the unforgettable experience of
performing at a major concert venue.

Help us achieve our mission.
Tonight, you have an opportunity to support these vital pro-
grams. The Auctioneer will announce various giving levels to
support our education and outreach fund. Please consider
making a contribution to benefit these programs. Your gen-
erosity and support are crucial to our success.

                   100% of your donation
               to our outreach and education
                 programs is tax-deductible.
