• JAGXtreme battery – velcros to the side inside where the power supply slot is.
• You will have to remove the back cover and remove the 2 screws holding the power
     supply in.
• Slide the power supply out and unhook the small thin black connector going to the
     battery.
• The battery is velcroed to the bottom, closest to the face plate.
• You may have to remove the 4 screws holding the faceplate on to get to the battery. It is
just velcroed to the side and not connected to anything other than the 2 wires that go to
     the black connector.
• If you can pry it loose from the back going down in you won’t have to remove the
faceplate. However, placing the battery where it was originally is impossible from the back
     looking down in.

             Backup
When the IND780 is backed up, the dataset includes all log
             files in .csv format.

To back up files from an IND780:
Connect a USB (flash) memory device to the IND780’s USB
port, either directly or via a USB extension cord.
Access Setup > Maintenance > Run > Backup to USB <Enter>

By default, the Dataset Name is BK1.
Press ENTER to select the field and enter another name, if required.

         Press the START softkey

The IND780 will check for the presence of a valid USB memory device. On finding one, it checks for
available space. If a device is not found, or a device is present that has insufficient space for the
operation, a prompt (“USB Memory Error”) informs the operator and the backup does not proceed. If
space is available, the IND780 creates a folder titled Mettler Toledo/Backup/IND780/ <dataset
name > (where “dataset name” is the name entered in step 3), then begins the transfer of data.

An on-screen message (“Working”) indicates that the procedure is in progress.

Once the terminal indicates that the backup is complete, the USB device can be
unplugged and the EXIT softkey pressed to return to the menu.

1000 and divide it by 3 and thus we will open the gate one third of the 2 seconds or 40 Milliseconds.
   • Enter the amount of scale settle time for this material.
Used by Fast Feed and Time Feed Processes to allow the material in the air to settle onto the scale.
   • Enter the minimum Quantity to Fast Feed. (Time Feed if less)
This entry is used on small batches where the target amount is less than the amount in the air before the Scales can
register it. Even if the Freefall is small enough to allow a fast feed if the target is below this amount a time feed will occur.

   • Allow System to Jog - Check Box that if checked will allow the system to enter the Jog cycle.
   • Start Jog Cycle when __ Lbs. From Target
Amount of weight from target the system will start the Jog Cycle. It will not Fast Feed or Time feed under this amount.
   • Quantity of material to Jog in each Jog __ Lbs
The amount of weight the system is trying to get in one jog. The system is automatically adjusting the time to achieve this.
Enter Time Needed To achieve Jog Quantity
Time in seconds used to adjust the gate time to calculate jog weight. It is increased or decreased according to the weight
obtained in the jog. Ex. If “Quantity of Material for each jog is set to 40 Lbs. at a .5 second jog time and it only sees 20 it
will increase the .5 by the amount of time in the “Amount of time to add or Subtract to achieve Jog Quantity.”
   • Amount of Time to Add or Subtract to achieve Jog Quantity
The amount that the above timer can increment or decrement by.
   • Enter the Maximum Jog Time the system can use to prevent over batching when it is jogging.
Used to limit the amount that the “Enter time Needed To Achieve Jog Quantity” the system cannot increase the Jog time
above this amount. (If Bin Runs empty and the gate jogs forever the timer will never grow above this number.) at this time.
   • Enter the Maximum Number of Jogs the system is allowed to use to achieve target.
Used to limit the amount of Jogs to this amount. If it jogs this many times the operator will be notified and action will be
required by them as to what they want to do. Retry Jogging or Quit and have Tolerance checking done also.
   • Jog Settle Time
Amount of time between jogs to allow the material in the air to Settle on the Scale. Usually a shorter time that Scale settle.

Fast Feed
Is the Target greater than the value stored in Enter the Minimum Quantity to Fast Feed (will Time Feed if less)?
• If YES, the system will do a Fast Feed by using the formula below
      Open the Feed gate.
If the Target is 15,000 LB then the gate will shut when the scale is at:
15,000 LB – (Calculated Average Freefall (see Freefall table) + Additional Freefall Compensation Quantity).
Wait the Enter the amount of scale settle time for this material value.
Check to see if the material is within tolerance (see Mix Component Maintenance).
• If YES, accept and go to the next material to be weighed up.
• If NO, check to see if the system needs to do another Fast Feed, Time Feed, or Jog

Time Feed
Is the amount to be fed above the Enter the Minimum Quantity to Fast Feed (will Time Feed if less)?
• If YES, do another Fast Feed. If it does this, relearn the freefalls.
• If NO, check to see if the system needs to do a Time Feed or Jog Feed.
Is the amount to be fed below the Enter the Minimum Quantity to Fast Feed (will Time Feed if less)?
• If YES, the system will either Time Feed or Jog.
Is the amount above the Start Jog Cycle when __ LB’s from Target value?
• If YES, do a Time Feed based on the Manual Feed Rate.
Is there a value other than 0 entered into Enter the Maximum Number of Time Feeds you would like the system to perform
      to batch to target?

Jog Feed
• If NO, do a Jog Feed.
Is there a value other than 0 in Enter the Maximum Number of Jogs the system is allowed to use to achieve target.
• If YES, Start a Jog Cycle.
• If NO, pop an error pop and flag the material out of tolerance.
Is the Allow System to Jog Feed checked?
• If NO, pop an error pop and flag the material out of tolerance.

Is the material within tolerance?
• If YES, accept and go to the next material.
• If NO, do another Jog
Did the scale receive the required Jog weight during the Jog?
• If YES, repeat the same Jog with the same amount of time to open the feed gate.
• If NO, adjust the Enter Time Needed to Achieve Jog Quantity value by the amount of time entered into Amount of Time
to Add or Subtract to Achieve Jog Quantity
Do another Jog with the new adjusted time to open the gate to achieve material in each jog.
Is the material within tolerance?
• If YES, accept and go to the next material.
• If NO, keep repeating until it is within tolerance or the number of jogs has been met in the Enter the Maximum Number of
Jogs the system is allowed to use to achieve target.
If the system Jogs for the maximum time it will display an error pop that says to either Re-read the scale, Retry the jogs, or

                                 Creating a new Freefall Table
Prior to creating a freefall table, you will need to gather required information.
1. You need your Mix Component code (Ex. Sand, 57, Rock), for our example we’ll create a freefall table
for Mix Component code “ROCK 57”. _________________________.
2. What Bin is it assigned to in Component Bins _____________________.
3. To find this information, open your Pre-Batch as shown below.
4. Click on the Component Bins button in the upper left.

KEEP IN MIND THIS THE VALUE IT WILL USE FROM 0 LBS TO 40,000 Agg Scale Capacity to shut the gate. You might

Do you wish to flow control the scale? - Field type Checkbox .
If unchecked the gate open signal will be maintained thru out the discharge.
What flow rate should the system use to regulate the flow OUT OF the scale?
The above is effected by the Truck and mixer rate of flow percentage and adjusted accordingly.
Example if amount above is 100 lbs and the truck rate percentage is 50% then the system will look at the flow
rate from the indicator and maintain a flow rate of 50 lbs plus or minus the variance below.
How much can the flow vary during discharge in Percent?
Used in conjunction with the flow rate field above
Calculate the flow out of the scale every ______ SECONDS.
Used to tell the software how often to look at the scale indicators flow rate and effect the

When a new component is needed for Integra Batch, there are several steps required to properly add the
component. These steps include addition of the product, addition of the component, configuration of
inventory, addition of free-fall tables and component-bin configuration.
This document covers only addition of the product to the batch panel. When doing Send Mix with Ticket from a
dispatch system, the component must be set up on dispatch as well. Contact Customer Support for assistance as
there are special requirements with Unit of Measure and Cross Reference.

            Product Addition
The first step is the addition of the Product. Every Component must have a corresponding Product.
Launch Product Maintenance from the Back Office Menu | Back Office | Master | Product Maintenance menu.

Enter the Product Number. Description, Price Control and Tax Code are required.
Set Price Control to “NO” and Tax Code to your “Tax Exempt” Code.
Set the Category Code to “930 – BEGIN READY MIX ADDITIVES”.
Set the Sales UM and Price UM to the units in which the Product is added to a mix.

For weighed Components, Free Fall tables must be created to accurately weigh up the material.
Select the Free Fall tab. Click the Edit Free Fall Defaults button.

If Free Fall tables are not created for weighed components, weigh up will be very inaccurate.

                COMPONENT BIN ASSIGNMENT
The Feed information on the bottom is populated with default information. This

                  configuration that is
                  similar to the
                  assignment that you are
                  making. This could be
                  the same Component in
                  a different Bin, or a
                  similar Component (for

                  information for
                  GRAVEL67 to STONE67).
                  Select Copy Component
                  Setup from the Edit

                  Component Setup
                  from the Edit menu.
                  The feed information
                  will be pasted in for

                     ASSIGN CURRENT INVENTORY CONTROL AREA
The first time a Component Bin combination is used, the current Inventory Control
                     Area must be selected.
This is because a Component may have multiple control areas.
Select the Inventory button on the right of the screen.

Component Bin Inventory Control Area Maintenance screen will be displayed.

Note that initially, the Inventory Control Area is blank.
Select an Inventory Control Area from the drop-down
                      and hit Save.

When this Component Bin is used, the inventory will be deducted from this Inventory Control Area.

If the Component is unassigned from this Bin, if it is later reassigned, it will
remember which Inventory Control Area to use, so this step will not be necessary
unless you wish to deduct from a different Control Area.

                Mix Component Maintenance

Mix Component Substitution involves the temporary swapping of one component for another of the same
type in a mix. This is usually done when one of the components in a mix formula has been depleted and a
similar substitute is used in the mix in order to continue batching.

When Prebatch loads a mix, each component record is checked for a substitute component code. If there
is a substitute in the record, Prebatch prompts the user for confirmation to go ahead and swap the
substitute for the original mix component. If confirmed, Prebatch automatically loads the substitute
component into the components grid using the original’s design quantity; otherwise it will leave the mix
formula unchanged with respect to the original component.
The prompt for substitute confirmation is a configurable batch setting.

This change remains in effect until the substitute component is cleared in Mix Component Maintenance.

If the feature is enabled, a new
                tabbed section for ‘Substitutes’
will be visible in the Mix
                Component Maintenance screen
                (see below).

                The Available Substitutes
                dropdown will only be populated
                when the user highlights a
location in the grid. When clicking
on a location the dropdown list
will contain all components of the
same type as the main component
that are available at that location.

                To assign the substitute component,
select the component in the dropdown
list and click the green check button.

                To clear the substitute component
from the highlighted location, click the
                red X button.

                                                                                   Mix Component Substitution (cont.)

The following steps describe how Prebatch behaves when loading a mix containing one or more
             substitute components.

When a mix is selected and each component is added to the components grid, Prebatch displays
an optional confirmation message to the batch user if a mix component is being swapped.

If the user selects ‘Yes’, the substitute stays in the
             mix.

If ‘No’, the original component is put back into the
             mix for this batch.

This prompt will be displayed for each swapped
component each time an affected mix is loaded into
             Prebatch, unless the “Confirm Substitute
Components” is unchecked in the Batch Settings
             screen (see next item).

The Batch Settings screen contains a checkbox,
“Confirm Substitute Components” to control the above
             user prompt.
This is an option and is defaulted to ‘True’.
If this option is turned OFF, the substitute component
will replace the original component every time:

All substitute components will be displayed in red in the components grid.
                Example: 008L and CEMENT1

The Design Quantity for the substituted component is the same as that of the
                 original component.
It is the user’s responsibility to make any necessary edits to the amount of
substitute component used in the mix. All other attributes (e.g., absorption percent,
specific gravity, moisture percent type, etc.) of the substitute component are
                 applied accordingly.
