    SUBMITTING A GREAT INVITATION TO TENDER
             23 MAY 2011 : 10am – 1pm

                                                  AIM
 This half day workshop will give Voluntary and Community Sector organisations a practical guide to
the Invitation to Tender Process. This training is aimed at organisations which have some experience
             of tendering or which are looking to complete an ITT within the near future.

                                          THE WORKSHOP
This training will offer a practical, hands-on session running through the Invitation to Tender process
                    and the typical questions that organisations will need to answer.

 The session will give you hints on best practice. It will help you consider how to strengthen an ITT
                             submission and how to show added value.

It will help you consider how to best present partnerships or consortia and how to evidence quality
    assurance throughout the supply chain. The workshop will briefly touch on outcomes based
                                  commissioning and future trends.

                                            THE TRAINER
     The workshop will be run by Tamara Essex, a freelance management consultant with wide
     experience of working with charities, voluntary and community organisations, community

                                              THE COST
The training is being subsidised by the Devon Consortium VCS Commissioning Project but there will
                    be charge of £10 per participant to offset some of the costs.
