Rosettes in all classes to 6th place
Rosettes will be awarded to all competitors in Lead Rein, First Ridden, Young
Handler, Cradle and Nursery Stakes Classes
Rosettes will be awarded to the highest placed NCPA Shropshire Member in
each class; members MUST Wear an orange armband and carry their NCPA
membership card.
RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

   1. An NCPA Star Rosette will be awarded in classes 38, 56 & 114;
      exhibitors must enter the ring wearing their NCPA badge and present
      their current membership card.

The PRESIDENT’S CUP The Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion In-
hand will receive a sash and rosette kindly donated by the President of the
NCPA, Mrs E Mansfield-Parnell, (Rotherwood Stud). The Champion and
Reserve Champion will also qualify for the Final to be held at the Pony of the
Year Show on September 9th 2012 At the Final all finalists will receive a
Finalist Rosette. The Champion a Sash, £25 and the President’s Cup, and the
Reserve Champion will receive a Sash and £15.
The CHAIRMAN’S CUP The Supreme and Reserve Supreme Ridden
Champion will receive a rosette and will also qualify for the Final to be held at
the Pony of the Year Show on September 9th 2012. At the Final all finalists
will receive a Finalist Rosette. The Champion a Sash, £25 and the Chairman’s
Cup, and the Reserve Champion will receive a Sash and £15.

   2. Any objections to be made in writing to the secretary with a £ 30 cash
      deposit, which will be returned if the objection is withheld. All objections
      must be made within 30 minutes of the class being held.

   3. The Organisers and Show Committee will take any necessary
      precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of persons on the
      showground. It is a condition of entry to the showground that all
      persons will act on any instructions given to them by the show
      committee, in so far that it can affect the health and safety of all. All
      competitors must take due regard to Section 7 of the Health and Safety
      Act and have due regard for the safety of others. There is a Health and
      Safety Statement on display at the Secretary’s Office.
4. Entries will not be accepted without the appropriate fee. An S.A.E.
   must be submitted with entries if a receipt is required. No numbers will
   be sent to Exhibitors prior to the Show. Competitors numbers should
   be collected from the Secretary’s Office on the Showground. Cheques
   and Postal Orders should be made to N.C.P.A. Shropshire. NO
   REFUNDS OF ENTRIES WILL BE MADE, except in the event of
   unforeseen cancellation of the Show, when a £ 5.00 levy will be
   deducted from each entry to cover Administration costs.

5. Correctly secured British Standard Skull/Caps/Riding Hats Nos.
   PAS015,EN1384     (USA) ASTMF1163 that meet current Safety
   Standards MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. NCPA
   SHROPSHIRE ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILTY FOR ANY INJURY
   ARISING FROM FAIURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REGULATION

6. Neither the committee nor any of its Officers, Servants or Assistants
   shall be responsible or accountable for any loss, injury, or damage to
   any person, animal or property in connection with this show.

7. Exhibitors are not permitted to use the horse walks for any purpose
   other than prior to the start of their class and horses must be kept at a
   walk. Trotting, cantering or exercising of horses is not allowed on the
   horse walks under any circumstances.

8. The NCPA Shropshire Branch reserves the right to substitute other
   Judges/Classes from those printed in the schedule.

9. It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to affect adequate insurance,
   including a recommended minimum of £ 1,000,000.00 third party
   liability insurance. The onus is on very rider who suffers a fall or any
   person who suffers an injury whilst on the Showground to report the
   fall/injury to the Show Secretary.

10. No refunds will be given under any circumstances.         It is the
    Competitors responsibility to be at the ring for their class. No
    exceptions can be made for persons missing their classes.

11. No corralling of horses or ponies is allowed. Dogs to be kept on leads
   at all times.

12. Lead Rein Championships: Ponies to be shown in snaffle bridles and
    the lead rein to be attached to the nose band on which it must remain
    whilst the pony is in the ring. Whilst in the ring the pony must be led at
    all times.

13. Mountain and Moorland ponies must be shown in natural state

14. Mountain and Moorland ponies must be registered with their respective
    Breed Society and the registration number quoted on the entry form
15. This show is a qualifier for Ponies( UK) 2012 Summer Championship
    Show, 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed horse/ponies in each Ponies Association
    (UK) Summer National Championship Qualifying class will qualify.
    Qualification will pass no lower than 3rd place. Qualification cards will
    not be presented in the ring. Competitors in qualifying positions, who
    are not current members of P (UK) are allowed 14 days in which to
    become members and register their horses/ponies in order for the
    qualification to remain valid.

16. This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (“B.S.P.S.”) and
    all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in
    B.S.P.S. classes, whether or not B.S.P.S. Members are subject to the
    rules of the B.S.P.S., including the disciplinary procedures, and shall
    be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S.

17. This show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.s. Championship Show,
    B.S.P.S.”Classic Security” Challenge Ltd, B.S.P.S. “Black Country
    Saddles” Best Rider and B.S.P.S. Premier League

18. NPS Silver Medal Rosette Championships. To be judged under the
    rules of the NPS. NPS Silver Medal Rosettes are only awarded when
    the owner is a Full, Life or Standard member of the NPS. A valid
    membership card must be in the riders/handlers possession on
    entering the ring and be produced immediately on request by either the
    judge or steward. If the owner of the pony is not a member, or the
    owners membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette will
    be awarded to the Reserve Champion provided they have the required
    membership card. If the Champion pony has previously qualified, it is
    entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the qualification card goes to
    the Reserve Champion pony, provided the owner of the pony is a
    member of the NPS. The Silver Medal rosette and the Qualification
    Card can be awarded no lower than First Reserve. Qualifiers are
    entitled to compete in the Final of the Silver Medal Rosette
    Championship at the NPS Summer Championship Show.

19. NPS Show Pony/Show Hunter Pony In Hand Championships. The first
    and second prize winners from each class go forward to the
    championship at the same show. The Champion and Reserve if
    owned by a Full, Life or Standard NPS Members then go forward to the
    final at the NPS Summer Championship Show. Where the Champion
    and/or Reserve Champion is not owned by an NPS Member, or has
    already qualified, the pony standing next in line, which belongs to a
    NPS member and has not already qualified, receives the qualification.
    Qualification may go no lower than first reserve in the Championship.
20. NPS Ridden Championships. The owner does not have to be an NPS
    member to enter this competition but only ponies owned by NPS Full ,
    Standard or Life members can qualify for the final. The highest placed
    pony, owned by a NPS member, in each class goes forward to the
    final. Where this pony has already qualified the pony standing next in
    line, which is owned by a NPS Member and has not already qualified,
    receives the qualification. Qualification may go no lower than third
    place.

21. The Show is affiliated to the Coloured Horse and Pony Society CHAPS
    (UK). Both owner and rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS
    (UK) nor must the horse/pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to
    compete.The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on the 30
    August – 1 September 2012 shows held on after the date will count as
    2013 qualifier. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for the
    appropriate qualifier card. The following classes are CHAPS (UK)
    qualifiers 74-77 and 81-84. For full rulings on competition/qualification,
    please refer to the CHAPS (UK) handbook or visit www.chapsuk.com
    for ruling. All stallions entering these classes must be graded or valid
    First Stage Approved with CHAPS (UK).

22. This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England
    Showground on the 16-19th August 2012. The two highest exhibits not
    already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify.
Classes 1- 21 & 26-39 are affiliated to WPCS, all entries must clearly state name and
numbers of the exhibit, and WPCS 2012 Membership card MUST be produced in the
ring to collect the Bronze Rosette. STRICTLY PRE ENTRIES ONLY.
