                                 Mini Marathon Sponsorship


We hope you all enjoyed our mini marathon afternoon. Remember to return your sponsor
forms after half term. All money raised will go towards our new fitness trail. Thank you to
everyone who came along and helped this afternoon.
A reminder of the prizes -
      Everyone raising money receives a sports skipping rope.
      The child raising the most money in each class receives a basketball plus a skipping rope.
      The child raising the most money in each key stage receives a Vortex thrower plus
       basket ball and skipping rope.
      The child raising the most money in school receives a high quality garden badminton set plus
       Vortex thrower, basket ball and skipping rope.


     The country which collects the most money will be invited to take part in
a water fight (next warm day) on the school field!

                        Ellie Smith completed 5km Race for Life and raised over £1000 for
                        cancer research.



               Ben Rumley who was awarded U11 Player of the Season at
               Kidderminster Carolians.


               Erin Follows who has passed her gold medal in ballet with
               distinction.


                  Seth Beddhall who has achieved his stage 4 swimming award and his
                  100 metre badge.

                    We raised an amazing £1508, well done everyone!

                    Film Night – Alvin & The Chipmunks, Chipwrecked
                    Thank you to all the children, staff and helpers who came along and enjoyed
                    the film. We raised just over £240.

3.  Donations – We rely on your generous donations to make the Fayre a huge success.

    needed……

                   Goodie Jar Tombola – Your child has brought a plastic jar home
                   today which we would like to use at the Summer fayre. We would be
                   very grateful if you could fill it with child friendly items such as pencils,

                                 Year 2 Adventure Day
                                     Rhydd Covert
                                  Thursday 31st May


              Year 2 children are going to Rhydd Covert for an Outdoor Adventure Day
               involving walking, making camp, cooking and adventure games.
The plan for the day is:
    Children to walk to Rhydd Covert, make a camp and cook a light lunch of bacon, baked
      beans, bread and jam. They will make a shelter for their group of 4 or 5 and then
      cook lunch on their stove. After lunch there will be time for an adventure game
      before returning to school for 3pm.
Children need to bring
    Water Bottle – make sure your child has enough drinks for the day
    Sun hat and apply sun tan cream before they come to school
    Suitable clothes (non uniform) including a waterproof coat
    Suitable footwear (trainers or walking boots)
    Plate, cup and spoon
    Shoulder bag to carry some of the equipment
