UNIT IDENTIFICATION CODES (UIC)
The Unit Identification Code (UIC) identifies the organizational unit to which an employee is officially assigned by personnel
action. The UIC is a six character code, the first character must be "W" and the second through fourth cannot be alphabetic "I" or
"O". The source of the UIC code is derived from the third through eight digits of the TDA number identifying the organizational unit
of employee's assignment.
