With a number of awards to our credit, Forrester Construction has displayed a proficiency with complex, highly
detailed historic preservation construction projects of varying sizes and complexities. Having renovated over 30 National
Historic Landmarks contributing structures, Forrester recognizes the importance of historic preservation and will work in
compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) to maintain the authenticity of historic structures while
repurposing or implementing an adaptive reuse program. The firm follows the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for the
treatment of historic properties to help preserve, rehabilitate, restore, and reconstruct projects that are on the National
Register for Historic Places. Forrester Construction is a member of the DC Preservation League.
