Role and Background:
Jim Mackenzie, BSc, MRICS - Supply Chain Consultant, Non-Operated Ventures for Shell
Exploration and Production in Europe.

Jim has worked in the energy business for nearly 30 years - the last 23 with Shell and primarily
UK based.
Contracting and Procurement has been the main stay of Jim’s career but with broadening
assignments in Finance, Internal Audit and, more recently, Six Sigma Business Improvement.
Currently within EP Europe, Jim performs a Supply Chain governance role with non-operated
ventures and has a split, multi-billion US$, portfolio between Norway and the UK.
Jim was a member of the Standard Contracts Committee for the UK Offshore Oil and Gas
Industry from 2001 through 2004.

Key objectives:
    Support delivery of Mentee company objectives.
    Explain and support EPE’s “Value Proposition to Suppliers”.
    Better understand the issues that impact SMEs when dealing with large organisations
       such as Shell. Capture the learnings and feedback into Shell.
    Expand, improve and maintain my personal business networks.
